    TRICOMED S.A. was established in 1995. Its activity ever since has reflected more that forty years of product innovation and creative work that laid ground for the new company. Its history dates back to 1959 - the founding of the Medical Articles Laboratory in Łódź. Two years later, in 1961 the first Polish vascular prosthesis was grafted in Poland.
TRICOMED S.A. is the sole manufacturer of a wide range of knitted biomaterials for vascular sugery, general sugery and cranioplasty, and other medical fields.
TRICOMED S.A. employs 65 people 30% are scientific staff.
Our products can be found in most Polish hospitals and medical centers and are also exported to Europe, Latin America and Asia.
We have always strived for comfort and safety of patients.
Our technology and manufacturing site is located in Łódź, in the center of Poland.
TRICOMED S.A. has won 50 patents, 2 National Awards for Medical Science, 2 esculape d'or Awards (one for vascular prostheses);
SALMED Fair: 1st Prize for Cranioplasty in the 3rd-Edition of "Łódź Proponuje" Competition;
Białystok International Fair: 1st Award for CODOFIX elastic dressing mesh and ORTOP orthopedic collars;
Leipzig: Gold Medal for vascular prosthesis, International America Award for Quality:
TRICOMED S.A. holds Polish as well as Italian, German, Russian, Mexican and Lithuanian certificates with a few more being registered.
In September 1999 the Mayor of Łódź awarded TRICOMED S.A. with a Medal for Quality for DALLON H hydrophilic vascular prosthesis.
TRICOMED S.A. has ISO 9001 Certificate.

In October 2002 the Mayor of Łódź awarded TRICOMED S.A. with the Scientific Award for the project: „The Łódź method of post traumatic reconstruction of the defects in the eye socket walls using the knit manufactured by TRICOMED S.A.”
