USE
Prior to sterilization it is necessary to precisely determine:
·
size of cranial
defect
·
shape of cranial
defect
·
curvature plane that
should fit natural construction of the skull.
Final adjustment of the prosthesis to the bone defect is performed
during a surgical operation. The prosthesis can be cut with a knife or
scissors. After modelling, the prosthesis should be thoroughly cleaned of
the dust that is created during fashioning by rinsing in physiological salt
solution.

STERILIZATION
CODUBIX® prostheses are supplied together with a fixing suture and
are non-sterile. Autoclave sterilization at the temperature of 121°C for 30
minutes is recommended. The prostheses can be sterilized twice, but not
more.
STORAGE
CODUBIX® prostheses should be protected against light and
stored in dark, airy rooms at the temperature of 20°C, with the relative
humidity of 65%. Wetting and mechanical or chemical damage should be
avoided.
