COLOURED MARKING BANDS

PURPOSE
Coloured marking bands are used for supporting separated organs during surgical operation.

TECHNICAL DATA
Coloured marking bands are knitted of polyester yarn as bands with the edges turned inside. The properties of the knitted stitch reduce fraying on cuttings.

CODOLOOPS® marking bands:

·        do not cause inflammatory reactions

·        are pliable

·        have stable length and width

·        high mechanical strength

·        are easily stored

·        are chemically pure, non-toxic, and do not cause hemolysis

Coloured marking bands are manufactured in three widths and four colours: white, yellow, red and blue.

INDICATIONS FOR CLINICAL USE
CODOLOOPS® coloured marking bands are used for retracting and supporting without damage separated organs during the operation. 

CODOLOOPS® marking bands are used in four colours:

·        red for arteries

·        blue for veins

·        yellow for urinary ducts

·        white for nerves

 

STERILIZATION
Coloured marking bands are sold as sterile. Coloured marker on the packing inside the box indicates radiative sterilization performed on the material. The marker darkens under radiation indicating complete product sterility.
